Hi, everybody. After fifty years of economic decline with over - TopicsExpress

Hi, everybody. After fifty years of economic decline with over eight million unemployed youths in Cameroon, our unemployment rate is the highest in the continent of Africa. And with the economy sinking at this rate with only five percent increase in fifty years then there is dying need for change of the ship captain in Cameroon. But while those at the top, recycle politicians are doing better than ever, average Cameroonians are living in absolute poverty. Inequality has deepened. Too many young people are working harder and harder just to get by in a country of plenty. And too many still are roaming the streets in search of daily bread, while the president is ruling the country by decree day in day out. Our job is to reverse these trends of hardship inflicted on the Cameroonian people by the regime in power. It’s time to restore opportunity for all people – the idea that no matter whom you are, if you work hard and live up to your responsibilities, you can make it if you try. Fighting from within the system is not working as you will end up in a casket the most recent case of late Dr. Ateba Yene, Joining the president’s Biya youths is not also a solution as they are trained to eliminate anybody who opposed the regime most recently Marafa private secretary and Lambebe the gay right activist, Joining the Cameroon military is worst as you are trained not to defend your nation but to protect the regime, proof of this has been seen from 1990 in Bamenda , university of Buea, demonstrations in Douala etc. The opposition has no place in Cameroon politics but have all joint in the fight for their stomach typed politics. Secessionist groups need young and energetic leaders, who can take actions not negotiators, as the regime wants to turn or look at any problem as a political issue. We can only succeed if we speak with one voice. Our ideas will strengthen the lower class and help more people work their way into the society. Some of them will require sacrifices. But wherever I can take steps to expand opportunity for more families on my own, I will. I’m going to ask business magnets, education leaders, and philanthropic leaders to partner with us to advance our goals in neglect of the regime. And every single day, I’m going to fight for these priorities – to shift the odds back in favor of more working and lower-class Cameroonians, and to keep Cameroon a place where you can always make it if you try. Thanks. Have a great week. Interim Head of Change JAM
