Hi everyone. A quick update of my rollercoaster life.... The job hunt is still going and Ive been on the benefit for two weeks now and I am just so grateful that I know what Im entitle to and its also very helpful knowing majority of the case workers in my area. However I have really been hunting, door knocking and so forth but had to put it on hold so that I could survive the one week stand down. I did pretty well to as I started prepare for it prior to finishing. Everything seems to be going pretty slowly in terms of hearing about job opportunities and when I explore them they dont seem to pan out. Buuuuut wait - I got a call last week and I was short listed so I have an interview tomorrow yeppie...... Its with the DHB - Waikato Hospital as a social worker. Hope things go well but I am lacking two of their criteria and I know everyone is going to say why I havent got one of them? The first thing is a Full license and the next Social Work registration. The first one Full license is because I seemed to have gotten by without it so didnt bother and I forgot the set my license before it expired and when it did I had to renew it and didnt want to pay again to set my full lol..... The second one is that I dont have the money to register however I am very capable in placing in a portfolio and willing if the agency is willing to pay and what I have heard they do! While being on the benefit they will pay for my full if I get the job and the condition is for the license..... I hope everything go well and everyone else is going well too.
