Hi everyone! I had my first stroke in January of 2010. They originally thought I had bells-palsy but turned out to be a tiny stroke. I had my second stroke on 12/22/12. I have a vision field cut on my left side and cannot use my left arm or hand at all. I wear a brace on my left foot and walk with a cane. After a month in the hospital I came home and continued therapy for several months with not much improvement. I still am unable to drive which drives me crazy. I was not able to return to work and therefor had to resign. I am now on disability and its tough paying my bills and giving my 2 girls still at home everything they need and want. My mother seems to think I am able to do more than I can and that makes me feel bad. I hate that she doesnt understand and I dont know how to try to explain things to her. I have found that I get irritated a lot quicker than before. Any words of wisdom for me?
