Hi everyone. Im France and this is Mel (brown one) and Mitzi (black one). Mel is a 13 years old male and Mitzi is a 7 years old female. They have been with us since they were babies. Peter and I love Rex and we love those two to bits :-) even though they can be a handful at times. Mel was our first Rex. We had had cats previously but never had Rex. Peter got Mel for me a few months after I migrated to Australia, as a companion. So, he is my baby... He has helped me a lot through the years to go through the difficult times of adapting to a new country. A male Rex is so loving and that was exactly what I needed. Someone to cuddle . When we lost peter old cat Kitty, Mel needed a new companion so we got Mitzi so he wouldnt be alone and because we liked the bred so much we decided to get another Rex. Their adaptation was very difficult and a few times I thought we would have to return Mitzi. But with perseverance and many tears from me, we got there and now they are the best of friends.
