Hi everyone, On the 24th of November I will be doing my first ever bungee jump off the Gary Bridge taking a total plunge of 132ft! Along with some of my fellow colleagues from Scottish Water we are raising money for WaterAid in support of World Toilet Day. This year the money we raise will be going directly to WaterAid projects in Zambia in Southern Africa and every penny we raise will change lives. Here are some startling facts about Zambia which show why this fundraising is so important: 4.7 million people in Zambia dont have access to safe water, over a third of the population. Over 7 million people dont have access to adequate sanitation, over half of the population. Over 5,000 children die every year from diarrhoea caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. £15 is enough to give one person access to safe water and sanitation for life!
