Hi everyone, Well the big news is that after the long wait we will be opening the slopes here at Cheeseman tomorrow - Sunday 10 August. The snow falls over the past week, a lot of pushing snow with groomers and shoveling will enable us to open so limited runs on Sunday. There is some more snow forecast early next week which will help even but more but in the meantime the time is right to just crack on with it! It is still very much a case of early season conditions with marked and unmarked hazards on and off trails and there will be limited grooming to skiers right and left of the Main T Bar. The field staff will be marking the good runs down the mountain and the trails back to the base area on the lower mountain which will mostly be limited to the Groomer / Cat Tracks. We will be offering non-members a special season opening rate of half day lift rates so spread the word around your friends and encourage them up to Cheeseman. The forecast looks great for the morning with a bit high cloud moving in during the afternoon. Dont forget you sunscreen and we look forward to seeing you up here tomorrow Please check the snow report in the morning for current snow, weather, facility and road conditions.
