Hi everyone! Were back again after a quick trip to work on the beach house, which is not on the beach, but near it... Weve almost got the first room finished! :) That will be our bedroom. Got the painting done and are waiting to hear from the carpet installers tomorrow. Weve got most of the front room sheetrocked and most of the bathroom sheetrocked. Still a long ways to go, but itll be worth it! The guest bedroom will have to wait--have to rip down all the paneling as well as the ceiling tile (this is a 1938 house). The kitchen ceiling will have to be torn off as well as a few walls knocked down, a door replaced with a window and then there are the floors.... I worked out in the yard on Saturday--11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Conrad says Im a workaholic. Nope, just want to get as much done as I possibly can in the short amount of time I have to work on it. The fence line looks much better! There was so much grass and over-growth of ivy and blackberry bushes.... I met another neighbor lady too--very nice. We discussed yard ideas (which I LOVE doing!), as I want to not only work on things I like, but Id like to blend things with my neighbors yards so they look good. (Granted, sometimes this is a real challenge!) Missed Kim and Donald, but talked with Kim on the phone. Unfortunately, we have no extra beds at this time...but take heart, well get there! Tomorrow Conrad finds out about his next knee surgery date. Hope it is soon! Ill keep you informed! Well, Id better go for now--been on here since half-time! Much better spent on facebook than on tv.... :) ha ha Have a great evening and I hope Monday treats you well !!!!
