Hi everyone ... hope you dont mind posting this here. Over the last thirteen years, The Sesh in Hull has been providing a platform for the very best unsigned and under the radar acts. The Sesh is held every Tuesday at The Polar Bear on Springbank, Hull and wed love to invite you all down. Were also responsible for staging a grassroots festival each summer called the Humber Street Sesh which features over 150 local bands and acts across 11 stages. Wed love for you to engage with us and get involved. The Sesh https://facebook/groups/7679914572/ Humber Street Sesh https://facebook/HumberStreetSesh Heres the promo for this week. Really looking forward to Tuesday at Sesh this week ... it promises to be a little bit special and a little bit heavy. Four acts for FREE and starting earlier from 7pm with the first band on at 8.45pm. Its taking us a couple of years to get em back, but were truly honoured to have the Citys finest and hardest working Metal band, The Colour Line back at The Sesh. Expect awesome riffs, spine tingling vocals and hard hitting drums. Plus with it being Halloween week, were also expecting a bit of blood and a few screams of ecstasy. This is one set you dont want to miss. https://facebook/thecolourline Plus ... In support. Courtesy of the booking skills of Joe Hubbard, were also delighted to have Plague Vendor from the USA on the bill. Currently on a UK Tour, these guys are immense. Think Mark E Smith partying out with Jack White and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Signed to Epitaph Records and based in California, Plague Vendor come straight from the garage enroute to the beach. Awesome band and you can see them for FREE at Sesh this week !!! https://facebook/PLAGUEVENDOR Check out the videos in the comments of TCL and Plague Vendor. Also on the bill .... and every act is huge this week. No side attractions. Age Of Atlas and Chasing Athena, both making a name for themselves not only in Hull but around the UK, having played extensively on the festival circuit. Both are Sesh headliners in their own right, and feature two of the best front men on the scene, Peter Measures and Ian Berry. Age Of Atlas are a cross between Deftones and Soundgarden, whilst Chasing Athena have their roots in pop punk yet rock out with the best of them. https://facebook/ageofatlas https://facebook/chasingathenaofficial It all makes for an epic night and its FREE. Open from 7pm - 2am. Four great bands LIVE. Featuring a playlist in between of the finest tracks and demos from Hulls Music Scene, with a classic alternative playlist from 12pm til late courtesy of Mak and Daniel Mawer. Drinks Offers. Pool Table. Courtyard. Lets have you hanging off the walls likes bats in caves this week at The Bear x
