Hi everyone, last night was the AGM for 2014, thank you to all who came along. It was a great and productive meeting, flowed easily, everyones job was made simple, again thank you. Before I announce our new committee for rest of 2014/15 on behalf of the committee I would like to extend our massive thank yous to Jason JM Matthews and Jane MacDonald for their work as president and treasurer, tirelessly they have worked very hard for many years. Jason putting his energy into the wall improvements that will benefit our club and surf for years to come and dedicating his time to the WBBRC. I dont think there is a thank you big enough for our Jane MacDonald treasurer extraordinaire years of service you gave the club keeping us financially safe. Huge gratitude to you. For the year ahead a few roles have changed from their traditional manner in the hope of having the club grow with fresh perspectives and making roles easier on our club members Election of new officers 2014/15 PRESIDENT Daisy Pennington & Tony Martin It has been decided by the committee to have a joint presidents role for the next year, effectively dissolving the vice position for the year ahead only . Congratulations Shirlene and Jason SUB COMMITTEE Erin Pennington Pip Ngaia Jane MacDonald Congratulations Committee meets on the last Tuesday of each month at 7pm upstairs WBBRC clubrooms all members are welcome and encouraged to come.
