Hi everyone, my name is Miss Molly and I’m 6 year old female basset. I’ve been told this is the most wonderful time of the year but you couldn’t prove it by me. I lived with a nice woman for as long as I can remember but she fell on hard times and couldn’t afford to keep her house, let alone take care of me. She stood outside the local shelter and begged passerbys to take me into their home but no one did. She finally had to bring me into the shelter. Wow, is that a scary place. Fortunately, you wonderful basset obsessed people came and took me out of the shelter. I’m a very calm, patient and kind hound. While I am adjusting to my new normal, it may take me a little time to warm up to new people but by the end of a short walk, my tail will be wagging and I’ll be ready for kisses, pets and belly rubs. I love my walks and theyre such a pleasant way of making my way back to a shapely waist. Even though I’ll never forget my former family, I know that with your help, I can be happy again soon.
