Hi everyone, update on the abused girl from my school: Shes ok and doing well in the hospital. She has a persistent cough and her abdomen hurts from being stepped on and kicked at. There are bumps all over head because her father slammed her head against the car window over and over again. What worries and shocks me is that her father was able to slip through security and visit her last weekend, and was trying to persuade her to come home. She is thankful for the donated clothes given to her today, a family friend (the one who saved her) has also given clothes so I think she is alright with what she has now at the hospital.Should any more clothes be given at this point in time, I will keep it with me first until she goes to the orphanage. Thank you so, so much for the monetary donations. As of now, I have collected RM2,200. What I will do is ensure that she has what she needs for her education.she will need school uniforms, books, shoes etc. I will also see to it that she has a personal bank account. This girl has nothing, but When I asked her what she wanted for me to buy for her immediate needs, she whispered to me and asked if it was possible to use some of the money for two girls, siblings aged 10 and 3, whom she shares a ward with. These girls were abused by their father & then abandoned at the hospital by their mother. So, to everyone who has donated, with your permission and as my student requested, Id like to be able to use some of the money raised to see to it that their needs are met.
