Hi fans of Clementi NPC, Recently, Police noticed an increase in housebreaking cases reported in private housing estates especially during dinner time (6pm – 9pm) & in the early morning (2-5am). These are some crime prevention measures that you can adopt to prevent yourself from being a victim of crime. 1) Install good quality locks and grilles to secure your gates, doors and windows; 2) Equip your premises with working CCTV or burglar alarm 3) Do not leave large amount of cash in your premises. keep them in a safe or the bank; 4) Avoid leaving valuables such as wallets, computer with sensitive information, smart devices, branded watches, and jewellery exposed within your premises; 5) If you and/or your family are going overseas, do inform your neighbours and the Police so that they can keep a lookout for you; 6) Suspend all home delivery like newspapers when you and/or family are going overseas. Should you be a victim of housebreaking, remain calm and do not touch or move anything in the crime scene to prevent tampering of evidences. Call the Police for assistance immediately.
