Hi folks, Currently Im about halfway through Gene Wolfes New - TopicsExpress

Hi folks, Currently Im about halfway through Gene Wolfes New Sun series, and am looking for recommendations for further exploration of the fantasy field. I thought Id never be able to take fantasy seriously again after reading Pratchett, but here I am anyway... Not particularly bothered about old or new, nor about pure fantasy (SF and/or horror crossover is fine), just so long as its reasonably easily available (preferably for Kindle), and preferably *not* gigantic multi-volume epics (which I suspect might cut down on the more recent recommendations). Or at least series that only run to three or four books. As an idea of the sort of thing Ive read: Dunsany (liked) Eddison (wouldve liked better were it not for the spurious archaic English) Tolkien (obviously) Wolfe (as mentioned) Pullmans His Dark Materials I have Zelaznys Amber series but the size of the omnibus volume has kind of daunted me so far Also have some of Fritz Leibers Lankhmar books (not read yet) and Robert Howards Conan stories (not read in full) Also just borrowed Crowleys Little Big from the library Have read a bit of Game of Thrones, I do want to explore that series further All suggestions gratefully received.
