Hi folks were looking for your help in supporting a campaign being run by Carers to have the Respite Care Grant restored in full. It was cut by €325 in Budget 2013. Budget 2015 was supposed to mark the end of austerity and we believe the government had the scope to reverse this nasty cut. Its not too late! The restoration of the grant could be included in the Social Welfare Bill which will be enacted in mid November. Please sign this petition as soon as possible and share it with your friends and family. This is a group of people who cant, because of their roles as carers, take to the streets in large protests so they need your online support. Thanks.
