Hi friends ... I enjoy FB I try not to put very serious Or deeply personal info on here .. Today I find myself needed to writing about a subject that effects us all at times and is very difficult .. Yesterday I found myself feeling sad .. Wondering what is this about .. As the day went on I realized it was Dec 10th .. The day 30 yrs ago my Mom got sick and passed the next day the 11th .. This has always been a tough time of year for me as my mom was only 47 ..I was 22 with a 1yr old ..and it was all very sudden .. My mom and I had just began to rebuild our relationship after making it past the mother daughter teenage years . Who knew I was a little shit ?? Poor women I did give her a run for her $$ ..with that said .. Its been 30 yrs and I still miss her ..Im not wanting anyone to feel sad for me ..this post is about letting my friends who have lost a parent that it does get less painful but it never really gets easier ...so let yourself feel that its ok to still be sad at the loss of someone you love .. And for those of you caring for a elderly parent and you are at times frustrated ... Take a moment to breath .. The circle of life will take that lovely person from you and you will be left like myself ..willing to give ANYTHING ...for 5 more minutes with them .. I will say that I am grateful everyday that my last words to my mom the women I tortured for my entire teenage years were I LOVE YOU .. And she responded with I love you too honey ..what a gift that was .. So with this holiday please remember to tell them you love them everyday ..again Im not looking to make you all feel sad or sorry for me .. I just want you to remember as our parents get older out time with them is to become shorter with each passing moment . Treasure it .. To my dear sisters friends ..Susan and Julie .. Im thinking of you both .. I love you ...to my Dad .. I LOVE YOU POP .. Your the best to me .. Always .. Ok now Ill shut up .. Hugs friends Merry Christmas to you all .
