Hi friends and family. Brad had an appt today with the ophthalmologist. After examining Brad he said Brad had inflammation in both optical nerves. Then sent him over to Holland Hospital for blood work and an MRI. The MRI showed a mass (tumor) on or near the Optical Nerve or Pituitary Gland. So his Doctor and the Ophthalmologist referred him to a Neurosurgeon on Tuesday at 7:45am in Grand Rapids. The doctors name is Dr. Hayden Boyse. We are asking for prayer. Prayer for Brad to feel Gods hand on him in all of this and for God to go before us and show Dr. Boyse a clear and concise diagnosis. Please be praying for our kids, too. Alisha and Hannah know what is happening, so far Cole and Claire are unaware of anything about this. Please pray for our stamina. We are already spread thin as it is. Thank you in advance for your prayers. We are trying not to panic and become discouraged now or at anytime during this experience. We need all the positive thoughts, prayers and love to get us through this. More than anything we know God knows the outcome of this and we have no control over it. We do have control over how we react to the information we receive on Tuesday. If they indeed find out what it is or if there needs to be more testing.
