Hi friends & family - this is VProud.tv - a new kind of social network featuring video content by women, for women. VProud was started by digital media goddess and good friend Karen Cahn, to allow for honest conversations about tough topics. The content is all at once thought provoking, sarcastic, serious, honest, brilliant, accessible and pee-in-your-pants (and what to do about it) funny. Best part is you can post publicly or privately (unless you like posting about your vagina to the public - it is totally your call). I am the contributing editor for the death & dying section (located within the health section). So far I started conversations about suicide, planning a funeral, mourning celebrities, dating a widower etc. Im currently developing pieces about fatal food allergies, the tragic death of a Rutgers Student after partying, and what NOT to say when someone is grieving. I see this site as an opportunity to start talking about death, dying, bereavement, grief & mourning among real women (the site is for 18+) who have real things to say. But its much more than that.
