Hi girls! Im an original sister! I graduated from ERAU in 2006 with my B.S. in Meteorology and in 2008 with my M.S. in Aviation Safety. I was the Charter President in 2005 prior to the installation of our Chapter! I was also the first honor initiate of the sorority! Im so happy to see how far the Chapter has grown and all the prospects for recruitment! Youll love sorority life at ERAU. Its very humbling and friendships and sisterhood are ever lasting! I currently live in Houston and I work for an oil and gas company called Eni Petroleum. We are the 6th largest oil company in the world, based in Milan, Italy. A few sisters from our Chapter live in Houston! We have quite the network here in Texas! - I grew up in Agawam, Massachusetts (about an hour an a half west of Boston). My nickname in the sorority is WX Barbie (WX means weather if you dont know) ;-) - My favorite food is definitely pizza! I cant get enough of it! - Interesting fact: While I was a student at ERAU, I attended the American Meteorological Society (AMS) conference in Atlanta and won a raffle to see the Weather Channel (its kind of disappointing LOL) and I also met Jim Cantore on Daytona Beach during the 2004 hurricanes! I think at that time he was there for Hurricane Francis (one of the worst floods)! - I love pop, rap, rock music. Not so into country... which is funny because I live in Texas! - Words of wisdom from an 8 year alumna: Set achievable goals, dont be afraid to ask because the worst answer is always no, do whatever you love with passion and heart! You will be successful! My closest friends came out of this sorority. We still keep in touch, go to weddings, baby showers, and sometimes homecoming! I loved every year I spent at ERAU but even more being apart of a great sisterhood. Oh and I met my husband in a fraternity. Weve been together 10 years :)
