Hi guys and girls, just a quick question! As a cross over rider from mtb to road, Im in the habit of taking either my dakine pack or a camelbak with me on road rides, stuffed with spare jacket, phone, inner tubes etc etc. I recently noticed that other roadies would look at me like they wanted to spit on me and my polite nod of the head or morning would be ignored! Having looked at forums, the general consensus is that it isnt the done thing to have a back pack of any description whilst riding a road bike! Im finding it hard to understand how Id carry what I feel essential in jersey pockets and a saddle bag, especially the pump! Baring in mind Im usually on my Tod about 30 miles + from home Id be interested to know what other members do! Especially as of late Ive been getting punctures what feels like every other outing!:( cheers Rich:)
