Hi, my name is Emma. I am having the worst flare up I have ever had in the 5 years of having Crohns. I am exhausted, malnourished, anemic...you name it... I can barely eat and when I do I have to rush to the bathroom about 10 minutes after putting it in my mouth. Im afraid to eat most of the time, cant sleep very much due to abdomen pain and joint pain. And the pain is at its worst. Im emotional all the time, meaning I cry a lot. I have also just moved to NZ in October, and I know that is the most likely reason for the flare up. Before I moved I weighed 73-74kg and today (04/12/2013) I weigh 63,5kg. Scary! I need help. But the waiting list for a specialist is about two months..my GP cant do much, but I thought going on a liquid diet for a while could help my gut calm down and get on some new meds. I am currently on LDN (Low Dose Naltrexone) but they do not have it in the dosage I take ,in NZ. Therefore I have to maybe change meds. I have moderate to severe Crohns (although I believe its just severe) So my question is, what liquid diet for Crohns does anyone recommend and also different medications I can try?
