Hi, my name is Megan Goss. I’m a former NAC swimmer and am currently a senior on the Northwestern Women’s Swim team. My co-captain and I are organizing a fundraiser for our team to raise money for Breast Cancer Research at Northwestern Memorial Hospital to take place on Wednesday, October 9th. The event is called Breaststroke 4 Breast Cancer and will be held at our university’s pool where our team alongside Northwestern students, faculty and other community members will swim breaststroke relays for one hour. The event will also feature an all-pink bake sale, a silent auction, an appearance by our school’s mascot, and more! This will be the second year in a row that we host this event, and last year we raised over $11,000 for local breast cancer research.
