Hi peeps thought id give you an update on my brother Tony,..since he went into the hospital March 2,..He has spend the last 2 weeks in the Intensive Care,they dissolved blot clots on his lungs,got rid of his foot infection,lost 25 lbs.,and removed 33 liters of fluid through dialysis each day.Today he was moved to a regular room where he is breathing on his own,getting his appeite back ,getting some Ensure pudding and shakes to build him up..But through all this he has been singing to the nurses and loving his bedside baths and having lotion put on him....Things he has to be careful of is as his foot heals..as he did have a hole in his foot,is to have physical therapy and just about learn how to walk and step on his foot.If his kidneys improve he may not need dialysis,but he will still be getting it once he gets home.But he is still in bed so has improved so much and has gotton this far and looks forward to taking and loving each step to being well.God knows all of your best wishes and PRAYERS and good care have brought him this far.He is forever grateful to all of you PEEPS as he calls you!!!Today is sent him a container with spagetti...he was craving..but we always check with the nurses.Which have all been WONDERFUL to him.Thank you all,..God Love YOU PEEPS!!!Love Tony,..and his family...P.S....Kelli,my dog is getting better and she too is on the mend...AMEN!!!!
