Hi peeps, today as most of you I think will have heard is Mad Friday and it has been estimated that 300,000 people will be out in Manchester City throughout today and this evening. Over the past week or so, there has been many reports that North West Ambulance Service have been under immense pressure over the past few weeks because of the enormous amount of calls that they have received - many which have not been needed. This month the team has already received 25% more 999 calls than usual,around 4,300 a day.
