Hi please delete if not allowed. I just bought a gelding at Jones who seemed healthy and everything. I get him home and he started coughing and had a slight nasal discharge. Two days have passed and he is still coughing and has a thick white nasal discharge, is lethargic, acting depressed, wont eat, and just seems really unhappy. He had a rectal temperature of 101.4 which is not super high.. I wormed him yesterday and administered one dose of penicillin. Hes still not doing good but the vet is coming today. hes 8yro and like 900lbs. His eyes dont look dull. Any ideas on what could be going on??
