Hi, thank you for accepting me in your group. This is Marley, shes a 5 year old Old English Sheepdog. Weve had her since she was 4 months old, shes been deaf since birth. She is a big sweetheart! However, we have been having an issue with her guarding her food and aggression. We feed her by herself since this has been a problem with the other dogs. However, recently she growled and scared my nieces who are 4 years old. Any advice on correcting this problem? Someone told me to stand by her food bowl and drop yummy treats in while she is eating so she associates people being near her food as a treat not something bad. I plan to try this tonight. Does anyone have any other advice. Thank you in advance.
