Hi there. I am going to Jersey this morning on a research mission and am meeting the leader over there of Jerseys Eating Disorder Support Group with a view to hearing how to set up a Beat Guernsey group!! Ive in the last 2 weeks put together a brilliantly vibrant and enthusiastic team and weve met at my house to brain storm and all are equally super keen and together we will be bringing some fantastic support to promoting the health and well being and especially support for those affected by Eating Disorders and there are many, not just sufferers but carers too. Jersey has a support network in place for 25 years and theres no similar set up in Guernsey and my mission is to see how it works over there so we can offer the same here. I will be attending their weekly meeting this evening too and am hoping to return armed with chunky useful information so the team and I can get the ball rolling... Watch this space!! 🍀🍀🍀
