Hi there.. I would like to know if anyone has been in the following situation?! I can really do with some advice! My director told me last week that she is afraid that she has to close the Hagwon because of too little kids and because she cannot pay me my current salary anymore! I only teach 6-7 classes per day and all of the sudden, she found me another kindergarten position at another school for 2 hours in the morning so that I can work the full 30 hours/8 classes per day (as set out in my contract) to make up the hours/classes that will make my current salary all of the sudden worth while! According to her, I will receive overtime pay that will be paid by the new school! She does not look willing to reduce my salary and now I have to meet the new school director tomorrow morning! At the end, I know that the decision stays with me, but it feels more to me like a deal between 2 schools and Im trapped in the middle! The directors even had a meeting without coming to me first regarding the financial situation at school! What to do?! Any insights would be much appreciated! Thank you very much!
