I had a column all ready to go, then my train of thought got derailed somewhere between Ebola Junction and Duck Dynasty. If you could see my computer desk right now, youd see just how ADD I am. I have two bandaids, a cup of pens, a toy dinosaur, Tums, index cards numbered 0-12, with all the addition facts printed on them, hand lotion, a glue stick, and...oh! Thats where that marble went! And for some reason, I also have three screw drivers, a key ring to nothing, and garden clippers...who knows? Im sure I put them there for a reason. What I dont have is the subject I wanted to write about tonight. So, my thought is, how about sharing some of the random thoughts and ideas that have been running through the mazes in my brain? Scared you, didnt I? Well, good news for starters, my daughter-in-law is still pregnant. Were now at 33 weeks, and both babies are healthy, growing, and fighting for room. Poor Crys is uncomfortable, but the doctor said the babies are head down, and beginning to drop. It could be any day...but were praying for a couple more weeks at least. I will keep you posted on that. In other news, The missing MH370 is still missing, and Chris Matthews is still an idiot. Youre caught up. My favorite quote of the day comes from Charles Krauthammer: Obama was a rock star, but now hes hiding behind his desk until after the November elections. And speaking of elections...or politicians...Joe Biden admitted his greatest regret...He regrets that many state governors refused the grants of stimulas money, which Joe Biden urged the president to pass. He regrets the governors who didnt jump on the stimulas bandwagon, but Gov. Brown of California did. He took it all! Now, theres going to be a high speed rail system from LA to Vegas, which 100s of Thousands of people will use. The other states will have nothing. Umm...Joe? That train business might not even happen...hold your regrets for now. One of my favorite subjects, since Im a debunker...or rather a skeptic. And thats scams, shams and hoaxes. Weve all seen them, been warned, or had someone try to catch us in one. Well, it was my turn today. I opened my email this morning, to see a strange one from..Africa! Normally, I just laugh at those things, and send them to the recycle bin. Not this time. I decided to have some fun. Heres his email...(think Nigerian money scam) How are you today ?
