Hi there, my name is Sean Fowler, I live in Quitman, and I am an online Journalism Student at Full Sail University. Im doing a thesis project on if gamers are athletes. This week, I have a class assignment related to that in which I need to conduct a video interview an involved source. Your store does seem more focus on card games than board games, but I still think you could be a great source. Id love to do an on-camera (recorded, not live) interview with someone at the store. Id also be writing a short article about the store for this weeks assignment. I really apologize for the short notice, but if at ALL possible, I would need to do this TODAY. Maybe, just as or after the store closes at 6pm? If you cant do that, I understand, and would be okay with doing it on Monday or Tuesday, but Id need to ask for an extension. The interview would basically focus in two parts. The first would be more about the store, its history, what it provides, the tournaments that take place there, etc. The second would be more themed to my thesis. Do you feel those who play games, like video games or CCGs, are athletes? Why or why not? What about those that do it professionally? That sort of thing. I appreciate any help that you can provide.
