Hi wonderful Circle! Before my crash gets into full swing, I thought Id share some good news: it appears my chemo routine is effective. X-ray and lessening symptoms indicate clear shrinking of tumors and minimal fluid collection - yay! Like my doc said, we wasted a month on the ineffective biological agent (disappointing), and lost a month due to those horrible infections (hideous), bit we are now on track. Never any guarantees, but we will be moving forward with continued and consecutive 4-week cycles: three chemo followed by a week of recovery. Its tolerable, now that I know the routine. Unfortunately, my white count is very low, so no more hugs, and I must stay on a special diett. Thanks for all your interest and love. Im heading to bed with a smile!
