Highlights in this Weekly Update: Tonight (Monday) in League City weve got a Council Workshop at the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center at 6pm. You may watch this meeting again anytime online at leaguecity/councilmeetings. Tomorrow (Tuesday) there will be a regular council meeting at 6pm in the Council Chambers at 200 W Walker. League City Police Department is co-hosting a candlelight vigil during Domestic Violence Awareness month on October 23 at 7pm in front of the Public Safety Building at 555 W Walker. Youth Basketball registration is still going on for children ages 5-14. You may register online at leaguecity/parks or in person at Hometown Heroes Park. The 20th annual Harvest Festival will be held on October 25 from 10am-4pm in League Park. There will be 20+ vendors, costume contests for pets and kids, pumpkin carving contest and even a pie baking contest. Bring your family and friends and join us!
