Got Admit in Eastern Michigan University Major in CS GRE: 309 (Q-164, V- 145) TOEFL: 95 BTech: Major CSE 75.5%- no backlogs Visa Interview: 31st July , Chennai Token: B30, Window : 21 VO:Good Morning Madam!! Me: Very Good Morning Sir, How are you doing?? VO: Yeah Fine,Thankyou.How about You? Me: Doing good. VO: Can I have your Passport and I 20 please Me: Sure. ( gave those two) VO: So, Eastern Michigan, Major in CS.. rite? Me: Yes Sir. VO: What is your major in Undergraduation? Me: Computer Science sir. VO: When did you complete your under graduation? ME: 2013 sir VO: Percentage Please. Me: 75.5% VO: Good..! Can I see you GRE Score card? Me: Yes Sir. (given the score card) He was typing something... VO: 309..!! Congratulations. Scored a very good number. Me: Thnku sir. VO: So any other admits? Me: I have applied for another two more unversities. But they are in pending. And gt admit in EMU with a good amount of scholarship. VO: Scholarship?? ( saw the I 20 again ) Ohh.. really good.. Me: thnku sir VO: Why EMU? Me: First of all it is a public University and second thing is that, I am inclined to the research work done in the fields of Cyber Security and scope is more in research stream. And finally, i grabbed a good amount of scholarship. VO: Thats great. Congratulations Madam. Your Visa is approved. Have a nice sty in USA. Me: Thankyou very much sir. (literally jumping in front of him) VO: Stay cool madam. Good luck Me: thnku sir.. Felt tensed as soon as i entered Embassy. Lot of checking and everything. But stay calm and cool.
