Hiking Down the Bunny Trail. Sunday is our special day. After breakfast, a quick gathering of laundry and some paperwork, I enjoy spending a little time with my wife and best friend. It could be a necessary run to Lowe’s or an evening at the movies. Inspired by the sunshine and brilliant blue skies, we took a scenic 28 mile drive through watershed to Travelers Rest. For the past few years, there has been much focus on one of the Upstate’s proudest accomplishments – The Swamp Rabbit Trail – a hiking/biking trail that seems to go on forever (14 mi.) while passing through woodlands, along rivers and past quaint villages and historic sites. greenvillesc.gov/ParksRec/Trails/SwampRabbitMap.aspx . As the responsible owners of one of the areas most recognized bed and breakfasts, we only recommend activities and places that we have personally checked out and approve. Our walk concluded at the Swamp Rabbit Brewery, an intimate local tap room serving a short list of hand crafted beers. No waitresses. No food. Just beer!
