Hillbilly Make Over Update... After a month of world travels it was good to get back to the sounds of air ratchets and smell of 45 year old rust and gunk. One of my fathers favorite garage maxims was Timmy, God helps those who help themselves... and this was true when it came to pulling the rear end out of the car. My build partner Keith Stamper was under the weather so I had to wrench, grind and torque the rear end out on my own. Amazing what one can accomplish on their own when they have to. The old boy fought me a bit but in the end he finally let go. Also got the brains (dash) back home and on the operating table. Though it looks like a disaster its actually pretty straightforward. Its exciting being nearly done with deconstruction, just need to pull out the front suspension next.
