Hillbilly Post..Sunday.. Little bit on the warm side. Thankfully it was also real breezy.. Took the wife wedding supply shopping. Thats some fun stuff there I tell you. Picking out a cake topper has to be one of the most complex decisions know to womankind. I was all for the bride dragging the groom one, but nooooo. In the end I think the wife was satisfied with her choice and thats all that really mattered. Then we moved on to clothes. Two houses and three closets full of duds and would you believe it, none of them were appropriate for a summertime outdoor wedding. Got to give her a little credit here though. She picked out the most stunning outfit in the history of weddings in less time than it takes a doctor to actually see you. While she was trying out four dozen combinations, I was admiring the frilly little lady undergarments. I got quite a few interesting looks from some of the blue haired beauties that saw me modeling double barreled slingshots. The wife fussed at me and one of these little old ladies actually defended me. She said At least he has an opinion and doesnt just agree with everything. Wife didnt know it but I was giving free fashion advice while she was in the fitting room...Had a nice drive through the back roads and then came home to left overs at the imported Bistro table!.. Then my son stopped by and got a healthy dose of Dads advice on most every facet in life that I thought he might need..Wisdom for the day. The first step in fixing something is to figure out whats wrong with it....Peace out.
