Hilton Head Island Pathways Connect Bike Ride Monday, September 30, 1:00 pm – 1:45pm A community bike ride of volunteers riding bikes and carrying banners on almost 60 miles of Hilton Head Island pathways to kick off the 350/30 Celebration at Town Hall September 30th To honor our Town’s commitment to provide over 57 miles of bike/walking paths in the past 30 years, the 350/30 Celebration kickoff event on Monday September 30th will be a HHI Pathways Connect Bike Ride finishing in Town Hall, which will then hold an open house for the public. Hilton Head pathways connect our island’s people, places, parks and communities. Bike club volunteers from the Kickin’ Asphalt, PsychoLists, Chain Gang, HH Cycling and Cycle Babblers bike clubs will be joined by other cycling members of the HHI community at 10:00 AM at Crossings Park. These cycling volunteers will carry their banners in groups around all of the islands public pathways reconvening at Crossings Park. They will meet with other community volunteers on bikes at 12:30 PM, form up at 1:00 PM for an escorted bike ride from Crossings Park arriving at Town Hall at 1:30 PM. These banners will then be presented to Mayor Drew Laughlin to help kick off a Town Hall open house.
