Himalayan Salt and Himalayan Red Rice My new favorite rice, I was so lucky to have found it. It has a nutty and earthy flavor. I used the Himalayan salt to salt the rice. It is said this salt is a hand harvested natural salt, known to be the purist. Now lets make some rice......MCK 1 cup Himalayan Red Rice Enough water to cover the rice by 1 inch, I measure by my first knuckle of my pointer finger 1 teaspoon Himalayan Salt In a saucepan, add rice, salt and water, bring to a boil, let rice slow boil for 2 minutes then turn fire down to low, add the lid and simmer for 20 minutes or until rice is soft.
