We are seeking a positive and enthusiastic team member for a full-time accounting position whose key responsibilities would include: - Preparation of personal income tax returns - Preparation of corporation and not-for-profit financial statements, including compilations and review engagements - Preparation of corporation income tax returns and other government returns as required, including GST, payroll and WCB - Assisting clients with bookkeeping and other financial areas as required Qualifications: - Professional accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA) or an accounting-related diploma or degree required - Previous public practice experience required - Ability to meet multiple deadlines with adaptability to changing priorities - Ability to make decisions and problem solve independently within the scope of the position - Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing - Experience with any of Caseware, Profile, Doc-it, Simply Accounting, Quickbooks and/or Microsoft Office is an asset Salary will be dependent on qualifications and previous experience.
