Kebebe currently plays Defender for Midjylland FC. --- Today the Central African Republic celebrates Independence Day from France, which occurred on this date in 1960. The Central African Republic is among the three dozen African countries that have included the inspiring colors of Ethiopia into its flag. --- On this date on August 13, 1964, the US military ocean vessel the Ethiopia Victory arrived at the Philadelphia Navy Yard where it would undergo conversion to serve as a ballistic missle(FBM) resupply cargo ship. Build in California and launched on April 20, 1944, the US Ethiopia Victory was one of 411 Victory ships built and named in honor of its allied nation, the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. The US Ethiopia Victory would participate in the battle of the Pacific and would be widely used in her 40 years of service.
