Hit a triple PR for the Conquer the Capital series! Today was the final race of it and I finally beat my previous marathon PR of 4:36:00 (way back when I was in Africa for Peace Corps, 2007) with a 4:13:14. I was unofficially gunning for a sub-4 and was on course for it with a half split of 1:56:22 and lots of gutso to burn but mother nature had other plans. Another race, another time! Sure am glad to be done with these road races. This Badass Barbwired Chick (or so I was called today) is sticking to trails from now on.
