Hizb, Al-Umar, JuM endorse 3-day strike call Srinagar, July 18 (KNS): Hizbul Mujahideen, Al-Umar and Jamiat-ul-Mujahideen militant outfits Thursday endorsed strike call for three days given by Hurriyat Conference led by Syed Ali Geelani against the Gool ‘massacre’. “We strongly condemn the Ramban killings and extend our full sport to the strike called by Hurriyat Conference (G),” Saleem Hashmi, the spokesman of Hizb told KNS over phone. Al-Umar Mujahideen chief Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar also condemned the killing of civilians in Ramban district of Jammu region allegedly by paramilitary Border Security Force. “Al-Umar Mujahideen also endorses the strike call for three days given by the Hurriyat Conference,” he told KNS. Jamiat-ul-Mujahideen spokesman Jameel Ahmad termed massacre of Muslims very condemnable and unacceptable. “Everyone, even a child of Kashmir is with Muslims of Jammu,” he said in a statement issued to KNS. “This tragic incident has once again shown that Muslims in Jammu and Kashmir are completely unsafe and Indian troops can kill Muslims as and when they wish,” he said, adding, “We endorse the 3-day strike call given by Geelani.” Salahudin also condemned the sentencing of two Kashmiris—Sheikh Imran and Sheikh Farhat—by a local court in Kolkata. “It’s a judicial terrorism and such acts will not deter freedom loving people.”
