Hmm, today’s okra recipe: At least an hour was spent in preparing my powdery okra dish! Sliced onions and crushed garlic with few deep spoons of palm oil, all at a go in to the boiling pot! Minutes later, grind peanut dissolved in a bowl of hot water was added. Hmm, spice was also added to my taste; salt and 2 cubes of jumbo maggi followed. Boiling continued and in the process powdery okra was carefully sprinkled into the pot. Hmm, almost looking nice following minutes of boiling; fried herring fish and chicken came in at the eleventh hour of the process. The current was low and normal on the ceramic plate; Steaming lasted for a while. “Ah Ya,” the dish was too salty!! Missing Mum and Sisters......
