Hmmmm. Our message was editorially cut. With over 250 transgender human beings murdered this year since January, and me talking about the devastation to so many people, with powerful presentation, the only thing important enough to put on the air after I was interviewed for around three minutes, was the fact I had an umbrella due to the rain. What a gigantic disappointment! Shame on ABC for choosing to completely dump a life saving issue affecting hundreds of thousands of Americans. We are being murdered in the world at a horrific rate of one transgender girl every 32 hours!!! And all ABC put on the air was that I was carrying an umbrella? I was told by an Emmy award winning TV news producer who had been at ABC that the news media has no desire to give any information to the public about transgender human beings and the challenges and dangers that we face. I am so sad to see she was not incorrect. Well, I am going to commit my energy to changing that.
