Hockey Northland would like to congratulate the following players on their selection into the 2014 Marsden Cove Northland NHL Men’s Squad. Adam Rafferty, Adam Taylor, Alistair Langridge, Brad Cotton, Brad Pitman, Brett Hood, Cam Hellier, Chad Cahalane, Dave Adams, Dave Samuels, Dion Watts, James Houston, James Watene, John Wallace, Keeley Johnson, Kieran Lynn, Lloyd Gurr, Luke Gillingham, Mark Thorne, Mike Scott, Nathan Correa, Paul Carter, Sam Webb, Sean Laidlaw, Steve Nink, Strachan McLeod & Thomas Müller Nankivell The squad contains both experience and youth with Northland 100 cap members Sam Webb & Dion Watts joined by up and coming Midfielders Steve Nink & Sean Laidlaw while new boys such as Bream Bays Thomas Nankivell & Mike Scott will provide the group with youthful enthusiasm. The selection was made following the recently completed City v Country series. Further players such as International Guest Players (IGP’s) & returning Blacksticks may be added to the squad. Current Northland U18 Men’s Players have not been selected into this squad, though players from the Northland U18 Men’s team maybe added following the completion of the U18 Regional Tournament.
