Hoi and greetings from Amsterdam, guys! After Fridays show in Luxembourg it was going to be hard for any venue to follow the kind of warm reception we received at Crossfire Bar there or Sunshine Concerts Festival in Antwerp the day before. It was probably a good thing that we were brought down to Earth by the exact opposite kind of venue in Amsterdam then. Amsterdam is one of my Top 3 cities on this Earth and CC Muziekcafé is in NO way representative of that fact or the city itself. I feel I would be remiss if I didnt warn my fellow musicians amongst you against disorganised establishments like CC Muziekcafé that sadly still exist in every country going. Also, when a venues only concern is literally that you dont play too loud, all these things do a marvellous thing… they make you play harder and louder. Im very proud of my bandmates for joining me in my enjoyment of doing just that, plus I was thrilled to see my good friend Dan Lazarescu at the show (please check his music too by the way: Dan Peter), and he and everyone else in attendance got exactly the same performance from Magic Eight Ball as they would have done in a better venue; albeit more angry!
