Hola Peeps! @ 30 weeks to go. - I say what I mean and I mean what I say..., but Lesley Olivia Von Egmond already wrote the post of the week (scroll down to 7/29 5:31). If youre still not sure what the fuss is about, why almost six months after we stepped back on shore and with still a bit more than six months to go to step aboard again we still SATS obsess, Well, let Leslie tell you. After youve read it and shes converted you over to our cult of friends, fun, and music, as she put so eloquently, a bottle of red and a credit card should get the job done. Gannett Numberfive explained that is the beauty that was SATS. I would just respectfully amend that sentiment to say that the joy and beauty is right now. Its that beauty and joy youve all been sharing so well this past week. In addition to great posts by Lesley and others, people have been posting amazing pics that express the joy in their experiences for all of us to share in. Great pics of mini reunions and great shows. Although, I admit that at this point, I may know Matt Nathansons face better than my own. It seems Im the only one alive who hasnt put up a pic of Matt Nathanson on stage in live action ecstatic convulsion, or of him getting getting basically molested by SATSers in meet and greet pics! By the way, I am taking suggestions for what MY pose with Mr. Hippy Shake should be. (Two shows, Wallingford and Upstate Concert Hall.) Andy Burris just put up a picture of the Atrium in the Pearl. The Atrium is empty in the pic, but I dare any vet to look at the pic and not recall some great joyful memory. Just as a public service, before returning to the Atrium for uninhibited fun dancing, please check out Gina Pollice Schiffers Dancing video post. If you know someone who resembles the lady in that video...get them some help...quickly! I wonder if at some level the joy is starting to percolate because were getting close enough to taste the potential of SATS2015. Our SATS hosts Train have weighed in with a couple new songs and a full slate of concerts is providing a little shot of the joy we shared and are hoping to share again at sea. The party has started and we cant help but be a little excited. Although I suggest caution in that some cruisers may be getting overzealous in their public declarations of love. SATS veteran Mindi Marshall is painting herself into a little corner. Could be awkward if both of her alleged boyfriends, Danny ODonahue from The Script, AND Andy Grammer (2015 confirmed) end up on the ship. Somehow Chef Ryan is in the mix too...shes apparently attempting to corner the market on the young male hotties. Wherever the joy is coming from we dont need a reason for anything we feel...cause I got you and you got me.... Lets keep going with it. Lets keep surfing the wave of joy. Heck, I may just have to go back and check Trisha Allens post about where to take some mermaid lessons! Have a great week :-) p.s.
