Hola amigos… need you help :)) As you may already know from my multiple posts, campaign and passionate discourse — I’ve been working very closely with the United Nations Foundation Girl Up campaign for the past two years. (Watch what we’ve accomplished together: https://youtube/watch?v=GqoM6ANJYuA) Last year, you may have attended the Girl Rising screening I hosted in the Lincoln Road movie theatre. I was so happy to see so many of my dearest and closest friends in attendance, but most of all I was glad to hear how moved you all were by the film. Last week, the whole world rejoiced in celebrating Malala Yousafzai when she was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize and we’re all eagerly awaiting the release of the of more than 200 girls still missing in Nigeria after 6 months of their abduction and the launch of the #BringBackOurGirls. The fact is that the world is slowly, but surely awakening to the importance of protecting, supporting and empowering girls through education.
