Home Manager (Nursing) Home Manager (Nursing) Newcastle, Tyne and Wear £40,000 + Bonus Remit Compass Associates are working with a prestigious care provider to recruit an experienced Nursing Home Manager for a 52 bedded service based near Newcastle. We are looking for an outstanding candidate who can facilitate a steady growth throughout the home, developing people & services whilst maintaining a focus on quality of care. The Service The home is a purpose-built modern home with capacity for 52 residents. It is based in a suburb close to the centre of Newcastle giving it a central location and access to all amenities. The Home itself is a light and spacious service with lounge and dining areas providing space for all residents to meet and chat or have quite time for reading. The standard of care is high and the home has a clean CQC report and a solid reputation in the local area. The home caters for Old Aged residents including people with Dementia, in addition to people with Learning Disabilities. The Candidate You will be an experienced manager within a nursing home environment, with a background in successful home management and have excellent relationships with both internal and external partners including the CQC. You will also need to be able to build relationships with your staff and be visible to your residents. A commercial flair is also required to ensure the continued success of this service. Ideally you will be managing a nursing home of a similar size or be a deputy who has experience of stepping up in your current home. Requirements (Essential) Experience of Home Management Strong people management skills Nursing background RMA (or equivalent) qualificationan advantage Applications will be accepted for people with a lapsed NMC pin or a Deputy Manager with aspirations but you must, in all cases, be able to demonstrate success in your current role.
