Home News Robbery shooting deemed homicide Posted: Wednesday, October 2, 2013 4:00 am By Mishele Wright mdwright@chronicle-tribune A motel clerk shot in the head during a robbery Sunday has been declared brain dead and is expected to be taken off life support sometime today. Grant County Deputy Coroner Chris Butche said Amy Ginger, 31, was declared brain dead at 11:35 a.m. Monday by a deputy coroner in Allen County. She remained on life support on Tuesday, but will be taken off today and her organs donated. An autopsy will be performed sometime today, Butche said.
