Home Remedies for Hair Fall :: It is perfectly normal to lose some amount of hair on a daily basis, but when you start to notice huge chunks of hair clogging the drain every time you wash your hair; it is time to pay attention. Excess hair fall over time can cause hair thinning or even bald patches. Immediate attention and care can help overcome hair fall. But, before you resort to expensive treatments try some of these easily available home remedies that promise to treat hair fall. Coconut milk - Coconut milk is one of the richest natural conditioners that enhance hair growth. It contains essential fats, proteins and minerals like potassium and iron. Grind some grated coconut and squeeze it to remove its juice. Apply this coconut milk on your scalp and massage it well. You can rinse it soon after or allow it to stay overnight for better results. This will not only help beat hair fall but will also make hair stronger. Garlic and onion - Onion and garlic are rich sources of sulphur and have been traditionally used in hair regrowth medication. The sulphur present in these foods, increases collagen production, which boosts hair growth. Cut onions into fine pieces and squeeze out the juice. Apply this juice to the scalp and leave it on for 15 minutes before you rinse it off with a mild shampoo. Now take a few cloves of garlic and crush them. Add some coconut oil to this crushed garlic and let it boil for a few minutes. Allow it to cool down and then apply it to the scalp while gently massaging it. Repeat this treatment two times a week for results. Aloe vera - Aloe vera is an effective ingredient, which stops hair fall. Aloe vera gel can restore the pH balance of the hair when applied to the scalp. Massage your scalp with aloe vera gel and keep it on for an hour or two before washing it off with lukewarm water. Its soothing and healing properties will help lessen scalp irritation and will stimulate hair growth. Amla - Amla or gooseberry is one of the best known treatments for hair fall. It is enriched with vitamin C and antioxidants, which help boost hair growth. Crush the amla and extract the juice of it and mix it with an equal quantity of freshly squeezed lime juice. Apply this mixture to your scalp and leave it to dry before washing it with lukewarm water. You can also substitute fresh amla with amla powder from any herbal store. Another good way to use amla is to consume it on a regular basis as it contains vitamin C, which will benefit your hair and body. Egg - Eggs are a good source of sulphur, which helps increase collagen production, which is responsible for hair growth. Apart from that it also contains proteins and minerals like selenium, phosphorous, iron, zinc and iodine. This mix of elements makes it a good promoter of hair regrowth and works more effectively when combined with olive oil. Take the white of one egg and combine it with a spoonful of olive oil. Whip it until it forms a paste like mixture and apply it to the scalp and hair. Allow it to stay for 20 minutes before you rinse it off with cool water and a mild shampoo. Neem - This traditional Indian herb has been around for years and has numerous health and beauty benefits. Boil neem leaves in water until the water level decreases to half its initial quantity and then allow it to cool. Use this water to rinse your hair once a week. This treatment will boost hair growth
